We read every review that comes into the house, fifteen thousand and counting, and one phrase turns up more than any other: someone asked what I was wearing. Not “it smells nice.” Asked. A stranger, a colleague, the woman in the elevator. That is the only ranking that matters for a fragrance, so it is the only one we used.

Before you decide

Which one should I start with?

If you want one bottle that works everywhere, White Moroccan Leather. If you want the oud that gets asked about on a Tuesday, Urban Oud. If you cannot decide, wear all of them on skin first with the discovery set above.

What does “sealed 2ml sample with every bottle” mean?

Every full-size bottle ships with a sealed 2ml of the same fragrance. Wear the sample first; if it is not yours, the unopened bottle can be exchanged.

Are these the same strength as designer fragrances?

They are composed at 25% Extrait de Parfum and hand-poured in New York in small batches, which is why two sprays in the morning are still there in the evening.
