I’ve been wanting to test these scents for a while and I’m glad I did! I wanted to see what an oud was like on me and I’m absolutely in love with it. My favourite out of all of the scents I received was a cross between desert oud, oasis oud, and the royal saffron oud. They were warm and spicy and earthy. The urban and honeyed tobacco I was excited to try…but they definitely strike me as manly. Too much so for my personal tastes. I got a ton of complements when I wore the saffron oud. I think out of that box, it was possibly the most feminine and slightly sweet( as saffron tends to be).
The womens set I wanted to try for the jasmine oud , which I did love. But many of them were a bit floral for me. I read a review that raved about the magnolia scent, but it was very bright and fresh where I tend towards citrus and sweet and earthy. I was pleasantly surprised also by the iris bloom! Not a scent I expected.
These smell great when you put them on and temper down in about 20 minutes. They’re not overpowering but will stick with you throughout the day. I even put royal saffron on before bed beacause it felt really calming and lovely to wear. These would work great in an office setting where you don’t want to knock people out with your perfume…but when you walk by or sit near them they’ll be wondering what that delicious scent is and where it’s coming from.
